Companies have approached logistics outsourcing for decades, but it is constrained since Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) provide single functions. Today, Third Party Logistics (3PL) service providers, a particular form of LSP, have enhanced their capabilities to carry out all stages in a firm's supply chain from beginning to end. Moreover, it is necessary for each business to determine which functions should remain in-house and which should be outsourced to service providers. This study aims to choose the most appropriate 3PLs for the wood furniture company in Vietnam based on applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Both quantitative and qualitative techniques have been approached in this study. Three main criteria and ten sub-criteria were identified and evaluated through the opinion of experts (from the company).
